Getting Me In Order

More often than not, we women tend to focus on everything and everyone...except ourselves.  Unfortunately, that includes our organization plan.

We can commit to getting our home, office, family and friends in order but when it comes to getting "us" organized...forget it!

The fact of the matter is that nothing in our lives can become completely orderly unless we start with ourselves.

We have to start with the basics...planning, planning, planning!  Setting up a day-to-day schedule is a great way to begin.  Start with what time you need to get up, get dressed and get to work on time.  If you have children, you have to add in the time you would need to get them to school.  Be sure to add in time for a healthy breakfast to get you revved up and ready for the day.  If you are a stay-at-home Mom, work from home, or work an afternoon or evening shift, the same thought process applies.  Simply figure out how your day has to be laid out so that you can complete each task in a timely manner.

If you don't already do some type of exercise, this is the perfect time to begin a program.  Start with 10 minutes and increase your time from there.  It will absolutely invigorate your mind and body and give you that extra boost you need to get through your busy day.  Find a workout program that suits your specific needs and will help you reach your desired goals without taking up too much of your time.

As a Christian, I could not possibly leave out the importance of prayer time within your schedule.  For me, it is a part of my morning routine.  As soon as I finish my workout, I fall down on my knees and begin to worship God.  I can do without sleep, food and exercise but I cannot live without spending time in prayer.  This part of my daily routine totally sets the tone for my entire day.  I am encouraged, refreshed and motivated after meditating and communicating with my God.

Sooo, begin to organize YOU first.  Be a little selfish and work on your orderliness and watch how much better your life will be!
